The Floorlords 45th Anniversary brings the crew home to Boston and Cambridge in September 2026. It is a celebration of breaking, DJs, battles, history and the community that has kept the crew moving since 1981.
Forty-five years is bigger than an anniversary number. It is proof that a crew can grow, change and still keep its foundation.
Why Boston matters
The Floorlords were built in Boston. Bringing the anniversary back home makes the weekend more than another event on the calendar. It connects the new generation to the city and people that shaped the crew.
What the weekend is about
Expect breaking battles, all-style energy, DJs, judges, hosts and a room full of people who have been part of the culture across different eras.
The event is also a chance to put names and faces to history. For younger dancers, that matters. Culture makes more sense when you can stand in the room with the people who helped build it.
My role
As a founding member of the Floorlords, this one is personal. I am there as part of the crew, part of the panel and part of the music.
